ScanTire AI uses deep learning (ResNet18) to analyze tire photos. Simply upload an image of your tire tread, and our AI will classify wear level, estimate tread depth, and provide safety recommendations within seconds.

Is the tire scanner free to use?

Yes! During our beta phase, you can perform 3 scans without registration or 10 scans with a free account. All features are completely free while we improve our AI accuracy.

How accurate is the AI tire analysis?

Current accuracy is approximately 60-75%. We continuously improve our ResNet18 model with user feedback. For safety-critical decisions, always consult a professional tire technician.

What tire wear levels does the scanner detect?

ScanTire AI classifies tires into 5 categories: New (≥7mm), Good (5-6.9mm), Medium (3-4.9mm), Worn (1.6-2.9mm), and Critical (<1.6mm). The 1.6mm threshold is the legal minimum in most countries.

Do I need to download an app?

No app download required! ScanTire AI works directly in your web browser on any device - smartphone, tablet, or computer.
